Responsibilities:

  • Design temporary and permanent facilities supporting emergency response, disaster recovery, and infrastructure resiliency operations.
  • Prepare Design-Build technical packages, architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documentation in accordance with USACE standards and project requirements.
  • Conduct facility assessments, site evaluations, and field inspections to support recovery planning and infrastructure restoration activities.
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, planners, and government representatives to ensure integrated and compliant project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, accessibility standards, life safety requirements, and federal design criteria.
  • Support project scheduling, cost estimating, design reviews, and construction coordination activities.
  • Review construction progress and provide technical guidance to ensure adherence to approved design documents and quality standards.
  • Participate in emergency response support activities and post-disaster infrastructure evaluations as required.
  • Maintain awareness of evolving architectural standards, construction technologies, and resiliency practices applicable to federal recovery projects.
