Job description

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is currently seeking a CADD Technician to support our teams in the Midwest. This position will focus on design of linear utilities, pump stations, and treatment plants for water and wastewater infrastructure. The ideal candidate will need to have experience working within Autodesk Civil 3D. We are looking for someone with great communication skills who enjoys being part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Working within Autodesk Civil 3D following internal or client driven CADD standards.
  • Coordinating with design engineers to develop accurate construction drawings.
  • Adhering to a specific quality control procedures.
  • Developing design drawings utilizing engineering sketches.
  • Complete work according to standard engineering principles and practices and compliance with company standards and quality system procedures.
  • Create and document concepts, sketches, models, layouts, submittals, instructions, and complete design packages.
  • Capable of designing with minimum direction.
  • Perform design calculations, reports, and construction documents.

Required Experience:

  • 2 - 6 Years of Experience or an associate's degree + 4 years' experience.
  • Autodesk Civil 3D proficiency.
  • Proficiency Microsoft office, and other computer applications and design software.
