We are seeking a Civil Engineering CAD Designer in our South Bend, IN office. Job Summary:

The CAD Designer will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This individual will work closely with Project Managers and Project Engineers to turn their concepts into technical drawings for a variety of projects.

Responsibilities:

Set up and manage CAD-related areas of projects to include set-up, standards, and file management.

Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on specifications provided by engineers or project leads.

Translate design concepts into fully realized CAD designs for various engineering projects.

Work closely with engineering teams to review designs, ensure feasibility, and incorporate feedback into the design process.

Attend design reviews, team meetings, and project updates to align CAD work with overall project goals.

Review and revise designs based on feedback from Senior Designers.

Education:

Associate's degree in related field/CAD Training.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

None

Work Experience/Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CAD Designer, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.

Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar programs. Civil 3D 2024 experience preferred.

A/E industry experience preferred.

Good math skills with the ability to compute areas, volumes, grades, and slopes.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work.

Excellent communication (both written and oral) and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Interacts well with other staff.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
