From accountants and financial analysts to internal consultants and workplace designers, the CFO Organization employs diverse individuals who work together to help make DTCC a global leader in the financial services industry.

The Financial System Analysis and Design Associate supports Finance transformation initiatives through the delivery of reporting, analytics, and system improvement solutions. This role is primarily focused on analytics and reporting delivery , helping Finance stakeholders access trusted data, actionable insights, and effective reporting capabilities that support decision-making across the CFO organization.

In addition, the Associate will contribute to Finance system enhancement efforts by assisting with business analysis activities, requirements gathering, process evaluation, and solution testing. This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in financial systems, data analytics, and enterprise technologies while collaborating with business and technology partners.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

Analytics & Reporting Delivery (Primary Focus)

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Finance reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into reporting and data visualization solutions.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of key metrics, KPIs, and standardized reporting definitions.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist in identifying trends, variances, and insights to support Finance decision-making.
  • Support self-service reporting capabilities through the development of governed datasets and reporting assets.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and report validation activities.

Business Analysis & System Optimization

  • Assist in gathering, documenting, and refining business requirements for Finance initiatives.
  • Support process reviews and help identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencies.
  • Document business processes, workflows, and functional requirements.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to support solution design discussions.
  • Assist with testing, defect tracking, and implementation support activities.
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge management efforts.

Data Management & Integration

  • Support data analysis and data modeling activities related to Finance reporting solutions.
  • Assist with understanding and documenting data lineage, mappings, and business rules.
  • Collaborate with technology teams on data integration and reporting enhancement initiatives.
  • Support adherence to enterprise data governance, control, and data quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience
