ABOUT THE ROLE

The Production Associate plays a crucial role in creating our made-to-order photography and wall art pieces. The Production Associate works in stations on the production floor based on the flow of customer orders, with safety as the top priority. Over time, the Production Associate will grow in responsibility by mastering all production functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•      Operate saws and machinery to cut frames, glass, and mirrors

•      Prepare prints or canvases with coating treatments according to specifications

•      Prepare surfaces and apply paint and texture to canvas, wood boards, glass, or mirrors using knowledge of various mediums and materials

•      Oversee printing runs based on daily production orders, ensuring orders are loaded and printed to specification

•      Stretch, trim, and assemble canvas and framed art according to company standards

•      Monitor product quality and ensure pieces are free of damage, soiling, or defects

•      Prepare and construct custom boxes for packing art pieces

•      Work across various stations on the production line and maintain production targets

•      Follow all health and safety standards

•      Maintain a clean and organized workstation

•      Participate in cross-functional training to support business needs

•      Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

•      Ability to read and understand units of measurement

•      Keen eye for detail, steady hands, and the ability to work with precision

•      Ability to read, understand, and communicate work orders, specifications, and safety instructions in English
