Design Associate Job Details & Perks:

  • In-home sales or flooring sales experienced preferred

  • Candidate may work remotely ad-hoc when not attending client consultations or team meetings
  • May qualify for paid attendance and travel to annual company convention in Cabo, Mexico

Design Associate Key Responsibilities:
  • Go out to client’s homes and meet with them regarding their flooring project
  • Follow our Sales System using our tablet, laptop, and software (non-negotiable)
  • Act as the single point of contact to the customer for all types of flooring service requests
  • Coordinate installation time and communication schedule with Office Manager
  • Communicate customer needs/expectations to Install Manager to make jobs go smoothly
  • Ability to maintain customer relationships and develop key referral sources to generate ongoing business 
  • Engage in on-going training/educational requirements (may involve travel at company expense)
 
Pay: Base salary + commissions.  Potential earnings are $60,000 - $100,000 for the average Design Associate. Above-average Design Associates earn $130,000 +.
Structure:   The position is offered as a contract role for 120 days with option to hire as a full time employee with benefits.   
- first 30 days:  hourly pay + training bonus
- days 31 to 120:  7% to 10%  commission on sales
- 120+ days:  option to become effective hire with salary + commission structure
