Job description

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Independently perform and review daily OTC derivatives operational activities, including trade capture, lifecycle processing, and reconciliations.
  • Investigate and resolve complex breaks or exceptions, performing root-cause analysis and proposing preventative actions.
  • Escalate material issues, delivery risks, or potential client impacts clearly and promptly.
  • Support daily operational sign-off activities by ensuring deliverables meet quality, timeliness, and control standards.
  • Act as a subject-matter resource for Analysts, providing guidance on processes, investigations, and control expectations.
  • Maintain and enhance process documentation, control descriptions, and audit-ready evidence.
  • Support onboarding of new clients, products, or strategies, including parallel runs and controlled go-live activities.
  • Participate in UAT, enhancements, and process improvement initiatives, including automation or workflow changes.
  • Build strong working relationships with partner teams including Fund Accounting, Middle Office, Pricing, Technology, and Client Service.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Solid experience in OTC derivatives operations within Fund Accounting, Middle Office, or a related environment.
  • Strong understanding of derivative trade lifecycle events and reconciliations.
  • Proven ability to operate independently in a production environment with accountability for outcomes.
  • Strong risk and control mindset with sound judgement around escalation and issue ownership.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with data analysis or ETL tools beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
