How You’ll Make an Impact

In this role, is responsible for managing the seamless execution and management of deposit-related services, delivering exceptional customer experience and operational excellence. 


Key Responsibilities

  1. Formulates and executes strategies for deposit operations that align with the organization's overall objectives to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  2. Evaluates market trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities for enhancing deposit products and services.
  3. Partners with senior management to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks for assessing the success of deposit operations.
  4. Establishes policies and procedures for deposit account management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  5. Supervises deposit transaction processing to guarantee accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) for turn-around times.
  6. Coordinates with IT and systems vendors to confirm that deposit processing systems are functioning effectively and are continuously updated with the latest technology.
  7. Manages daily operations related to deposit account openings, maintenance, and closures, ensuring a high level of service and customer satisfaction.
  8. Other duties: Perform other duties as assigned by leaders


Requirements

Required Education: Technical Studies

Possible Degrees: Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Banking and Financial Services, Management or related field

Other Education: Professional banking certifications (preferred), such as Certified Bank Operations Professional (CBOP), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), or equivalent banking operations and compliance training.

Required Years of Experience in Position: 3+ Years

Languages: English and Spanish (Preferred)


Technical Knowledge and Skills

  1. Extensive knowledge of deposit operations, including account opening and maintenance, check processing, ACH, wire transfers, debit card services, and electronic banking products.
  2. Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements, including BSA/AML, CIP, OFAC, Regulation CC, Regulation E, UDAAP, and other applicable federal and state regulations.
  3. Experience with core banking systems, digital banking platforms, workflow automation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for reporting and data analysis.
  4. Proven leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to drive process improvements, manage operational risk, and lead cross-functional initiatives.
