Victory Staffing Resources, LLC is committed to providing high-quality, person-centered services to individuals receiving supports through the Connecticut Department of Developmental Services (DDS). We are seeking an experienced and motivated Program Supervisor to lead staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and support individuals in achieving their personal goals and maximum independence.

Position Summary

The DDS Program Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of DDS services, including staff supervision, program compliance, quality assurance, and support coordination. This leadership role requires strong organizational skills, experience supervising teams, and a commitment to person-centered practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and other program staff.
  • Ensure services are delivered in accordance with DDS regulations, agency policies, and individual service plans.
  • Conduct staff orientations, training, coaching, and performance reviews.
  • Review and monitor documentation, daily notes, incident reports, and service records.
  • Assist with staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage for assigned programs.
  • Participate in Individual Plan (IP) meetings and ensure implementation of individual goals.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, abuse prevention, HIPAA, and reporting requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, and staff concerns as needed.
  • Collaborate with DDS personnel, families, guardians, healthcare providers, and community resources.
  • Monitor program outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a positive work culture focused on respect, accountability, and excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in developmental services, human services, healthcare, behavioral health, residential services, or a related field.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain compliance standards.
  • Proficiency with documentation and electronic record systems.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass criminal background, abuse registry, and other required screenings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Connecticut DDS regulations and service delivery systems.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • PMT, CPI, or other behavioral intervention training.
  • Experience with person-centered planning and community-based supports.
