Overview

The Business Relationship Manager for sales & marketing acts as the strategic interface between the IT department and OVG's diverse sales and marketing departments, ensuring that technology solutions, services, and support align with business needs and objectives. They work to understand business requirements, serves as an advocate for their business area, and ensures that technology solutions contribute to the success of the organization. This role is crucial in fostering a productive partnership between IT and the business, enabling the organization to identify and leverage technology effectively to achieve its goals.

This role pays an annual salary of $114,485-$148,830 and is bonus eligible.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between IT and the Sales & Marketing functions.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the business units' strategies, objectives, and challenges.
  • Advocate for the business units' needs to ensure alignment with overall technology strategies.
  • Identify and assess technology needs and opportunities, then develop technology roadmaps that align with the business units' strategic goals.
  • Manage the prioritization of technology projects, ensuring that resources are allocated to initiatives that deliver the highest value to the business.
  • Oversee the delivery of technology projects, ensuring they meet business requirements, timelines, and budgets.
  • Monitor the performance and effectiveness of technical and operational solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of the business.
  • Drive change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and processes.
  • Assist in the development of technology budgets for business units that are aligned with business needs and strategic goals.
  • Monitor technology spending and ensure cost-effective delivery of technology services.
  • Track and report on the performance of technology services, projects, and initiatives against agreed-upon KPIs and SLAs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT business relationship management, IT project management, or a related role.
  • 2+ years as a CRM analyst or administrator using Salesforce.
  • Experience with common industry integrations and vendors, including Ticketmaster Archtics, ZoomInfo, Tableau, and KORE.
  • Proven experience in managing relationships between IT and business units.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to present technical and functional information concisely that explains the issues at hand, including options for the team to discuss for problem resolution.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with change management and business process improvement.
