Baytown Gentle Dental is seeking a skilled and caring Dental Hygienist to join our perio-focused, cosmetic, and general dental practice. This position offers part-time hours with the strong potential to transition to full-time starting January. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care through teamwork, professionalism, and advanced dental practices.
Located in Baytown, TX, Baytown Gentle Dental is a patient-centered practice dedicated to providing comprehensive dental care with an emphasis on periodontal health and cosmetic dentistry. Our team fosters a collaborative environment where every member contributes to exceptional service and patient comfort. Utilizing modern technology such as Dentrix software, we ensure both efficient operations and quality clinical outcomes.

Job Description

Perform dental cleanings and prophylaxis with attention to patient comfort
Conduct periodontal assessments and support perio-focused treatments
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care strategies
Apply nitrous oxide and lasers safely as part of treatment protocols
Use Dentrix software for scheduling, charting, and patient records management
Collaborate effectively with dentists and team members to coordinate patient care
Maintain sterilization and compliance with health and safety standards

Salary Range

Full-time $44 - $48 per hour

Shift & Schedule

Monday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Requirements
  • Dentrix
  • Nitrous Oxide Certification

Valid Dental Hygienist license
Nitrous Oxide Certification (required)
Laser Certification (required)
Proficiency in Dentrix practice management software
