Are you a detail-oriented dental professional who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment? Brandon H Barton Jr DDS PC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team in Detroit.
In this role, you will be the backbone of our clinical operations—supporting our dentists and hygienists across various specialties, including general dentistry, pediatrics, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Job Description

Chairside Excellence: Provide expert four-handed dentistry support during restorative, endodontic, and pediatric procedures.
Clinical Preparation: Prepare treatment rooms using strict aseptic techniques and manage dental sterilization (autoclaving) in compliance with OSHA standards.
Patient Care & Education: Monitor vital signs, manage patient flow, and provide clear post-treatment counseling and oral health education.
Imaging & Diagnostics: Safely perform and develop high-quality dental X-rays and medical imaging.
Digital Integration: Maintain precise patient records and medical coding within EMR systems (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic) while ensuring 100% HIPAA compliance.
Administrative Support: Assist with medical scheduling and patient record management to ensure a seamless clinic experience.

Salary Range

Full-time $23 - $28 per hour

Compliance Expert: Deep understanding of HIPAA, OSHA regulations, and healthcare infection control (PPE, HLD, and hand hygiene).
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills and a "patient-first" mentality.
Education: Certification in dental assisting or completion of a relevant training program is preferred.
