The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a General Dentist to provide care at a vibrant community health center's (FQHC) in Fort Dodge, IA!


What is a community health center (FQHC)?

The largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations.

With an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof.


New grads are encouraged to apply!

  • Clinic Hours: Mon-Fri: 8am-5pm (open to flexibility); no evenings, weekends, call
  • Sees on average 14 patients per day + hygiene checks
  • Provider team includes: 1 dentist, 1 dental hygienist, and 2 dental assistants.
  • Operatories: 2
  • EHR: Epic Wisdom

Duties: hygiene checks, limiteds, treatment, extractions, root canals, dentures on a variety of patient populations, some who have not had dental care in years


Benefits:

  • Student Loan Repayment Programs: Eligible for $50,000 in student loan repayment in exchange for 2 years of service through state & federal programs
  • Competitive Salary: $190,000 - $230,000/year based on experience.
  • Sign on Bonus: $20,000
  • Licensing and Professional Subscriptions: Reimbursement provided.
  • Comprehensive Insurance: Medical, dental, vision, life, accidental death and dismemberment, short-term disability, long-term disability, and flexible spending available.
  • Continuing Education: $3,000/year and 5 days for CME
