Job description

Help patients behind the scenes - no blood, no needles, just smart support
At Falck US, Revenue Cycle Management is how we help real people after some of the most stressful moments in their lives. In our EMS RCM environment, strong data and sharp analysis matter because they directly affect revenue, cash flow and collection outcomes.
As an Analyst in RCM, your focus will be on financial performance, prediction and risk. You will help the business understand how revenue cycle performance is trending, where risk is building, and what is likely to happen next - from high-level portfolio views down to detailed drivers behind collections, payor behavior and patient behavior. Your work will help leaders make better decisions on revenue, cash flow and collection forecasting.

Purpose of the Role
The Analyst supports RCM by analyzing and predicting performance across revenue, cash flow, collections, denials, underpayments and other key financial indicators. The role combines finance, analytics and revenue cycle understanding to identify trends, quantify risk, and help explain what is driving performance.
A key part of the role is to correlate RCM behavior - including payor and patient trends - with financial outcomes, and to help build a clearer view of where results may improve or soften over time. This supports a more data-driven RCM function, which the organization has identified as an important capability for the future.
In this role, you will
  • Analyze RCM performance across revenue, cash flow, collections, denials, underpayments and backlog.
  • Build insight into payor and patient behavior trends, from aggregated portfolio views to detailed root-cause analysis.
  • Support forecasting and prediction for revenue, collections, cash flow and performance risk.
  • Leverage internal finance data and external market intelligence to generate actionable insights, identify trends, and forecast opportunities that support business growth.
  • Help identify where performance is strengthening, where risk is increasing, and what actions may be needed.
  • Translate large data sets into clear, actionable insight for leaders and stakeholders.
  • Support regular reporting with a strong focus on trends, variance analysis and forward-looking visibility.
  • Work with BI, finance and RCM partners to improve the quality and usability of reporting.
  • Help the team move from reactive reporting to more proactive financial insight.

You might be a great fit if you have
  • A background in finance, accounting, economics, business analytics or a similar field.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data, trends and forecasting.
  • Experience with reporting, variance analysis, financial performance or predictive analysis.
  • A data-savvy mindset and the ability to move between summary-level views and detailed analysis.
  • Healthcare, RCM, collections or payor-related experience as a strong advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex analysis simply.
  • A structured, curious and collaborative approach.
