Job Summary

Job Title: Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Location: 8741 Saginaw Hwy, Suite M, Lansing, Just across Menards. Michigan

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality preventive dental care, educate patients on oral hygiene, and support the dentist in delivering excellent patient outcomes. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and plaque/calculus removal
  • Conduct oral health assessments and document patient conditions
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
  • Screen patients for signs of oral diseases, including gingivitis and periodontal disease
  • Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Assist dentists during examinations when needed
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols
  • Maintain dental equipment and operatory cleanliness

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
  • Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Certification to administer local anesthesia and/or nitrous oxide
  • Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and patient care standards
  • Proficiency with dental software Dentrix preferred
