Job description

Job Title: General Dentist (DDS) – Part-Time


Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused General Dentist (DDS) to join a practice beginning September 2026, with an open-ended (indefinite) assignment. This role is ideal for a provider who enjoys working primarily with adult patients and is comfortable performing a broad range of general dentistry procedures.


Schedule:

  • 2–3 days per week
  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Patient Volume:

  • Approximately 15–20 patients per day

Support Staff:

  • 1 Front Office Coordinator
  • 1 Dental Assistant

Clinical Systems:

  • Charting/EMR: Dentimax

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive general dental care to primarily adult patients
  • Perform procedures including crowns, bridges, extractions, and dentures
  • Diagnose and treatment plan according to patient needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active DDS/DMD license in good standing
  • Medicaid provider number (preferred)
  • Nitrous oxide certification (preferred)
  • Experience with Dentimax or similar dental software
  • Strong clinical skills in restorative and prosthodontic procedures
