Job description
Job Title: General Dentist (DDS) – Part-Time
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused General Dentist (DDS) to join a practice beginning September 2026, with an open-ended (indefinite) assignment. This role is ideal for a provider who enjoys working primarily with adult patients and is comfortable performing a broad range of general dentistry procedures.
Schedule:
- 2–3 days per week
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Patient Volume:
- Approximately 15–20 patients per day
Support Staff:
- 1 Front Office Coordinator
- 1 Dental Assistant
Clinical Systems:
- Charting/EMR: Dentimax
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive general dental care to primarily adult patients
- Perform procedures including crowns, bridges, extractions, and dentures
- Diagnose and treatment plan according to patient needs
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active DDS/DMD license in good standing
- Medicaid provider number (preferred)
- Nitrous oxide certification (preferred)
- Experience with Dentimax or similar dental software
- Strong clinical skills in restorative and prosthodontic procedures
