Description

The General Manager is responsible for the overall operational and financial performance of our 2 Baltimore area dental laboratories. This role leads day-to-day operations, assist leaders with P&L performance, and drives continuous improvement while building a high-performing, engaged team.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a manufacturing or production environment, is comfortable with data and financial accountability, and values both results and culture.

Operations & Financial Management
  • Partner with Lab President to manage the lab’s P&L and EBITDA performance
  • Participate in daily financial and performance calls with corporate leadership
  • Monitor labor, expenses, productivity, and on-time delivery and backup payroll if needed
  • Review operational and financial reports; drive corrective actions
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop employees, including frontline leaders
  • Ensure attendance, performance, and policy compliance
  • Conduct coaching, performance feedback, and corrective actions
  • Build a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
Quality, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure consistent quality standards and service-level commitments
  • Enforce SOPs, safety programs, and company policies
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and state workplace safety laws
  • Maintain building security and customer compliance requirements
Process Improvement & Customer Focus
  • Identify and implement operational improvements
  • Partner with internal teams and customers to resolve issues
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the lab
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of leadership experience
