About the Role

We are seeking a dependable person who is looking to build not only a career with our practice but to help build a better community.


Key Responsibilities 

  • Perform thorough oral hygiene assessments, including reviewing medical history and dental charting. 
  • Clean and remove plaque and calculus from teeth and along the gumline using dental instruments. 
  • Take dental x-rays and assist the dentist in diagnostic procedures. 
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized preventive care instructions. 
  • Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants. 
  • Perform periodontal charting to assess and monitor gum health. 
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures and ensure a sterile and safe environment. 
  • Perform oral cancer screenings and identify any abnormalities. 
  • Manage patient recall system and schedule appointments for follow-up care. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date dental records and documentation. 
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care. 
  • Adhere to all infection control and sterilization procedures. 
  • Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technologies. 

Qualifications 

Experience:  

  • Current Colorado Registered Dental Hygienist license. 
  • Local anesthesia certification (preferred) 
  • CPR certification 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Comfortable using open dental software. 
  • New graduates are welcome to apply—we value attitude and potential just as much as experience.
