What does a dental designer do?

A typical day for a Dental Designer involves reviewing dental impressions or scans, designing crowns, bridges, or implants using advanced CAD software, and coordinating with dentists or lab technicians to ensure precise specifications. What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a dental designer?

Dental Designers need a solid background in dental anatomy, digital design principles, and CAD/CAM technology, often supported by a degree or certification in dental technology or a related field.
