We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and organizational skills, a compassionate attitude toward patients, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Dental Assistant, you will support the dentist during various procedures, assist with patient care, and ensure the smooth operation of the office.

- Assist the Dentist: Prepare patients for dental procedures, provide assistance during treatments (such as holding instruments, suctioning, and maintaining the sterile field), and ensure patient comfort.
- Take and Develop X-rays: Assist with diagnostic imaging, including taking dental X-rays and developing them for the dentistโ€™s review.
- Prepare Treatment Rooms: Ensure all instruments, materials, and equipment are ready and sterilized before each procedure.
- Patient Care and Education: Explain treatment procedures to patients, provide post-treatment instructions, and educate them on proper oral hygiene.
- Sterilization and Infection Control: Ensure proper sterilization of instruments and maintain a clean and sterile working environment.
- Maintain Patient Records: Assist with documenting patient information, treatments, and X-ray results accurately in the practice management system.
- Assist with Dental Procedures: Support the dentist during various procedures, such as fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and implants.
- Assist with Administrative Tasks: Schedule patient appointments, manage patient records, and assist with billing and insurance processing.
- Maintain Inventory: Monitor and reorder dental supplies and materials to ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols as outlined by the practice and regulatory bodies.
- Work as a Team: Collaborate effectively with the dentist, hygienists, and other team members to provide excellent patient care.

Salary Range

Part-time $20 - $24 per hour
