Dental Supervisor - Sea Mar Community Health Centers
Sea Mar is seeking a Dental Supervisor to lead dental assistants and reception staff, coordinate patient flow, and support dental providers in delivering quality care. This leadership role ensures efficient operations, strong patient experience, and compliance with clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise dental assistants and reception staff; support training and performance management
  • Coordinate patient flow, scheduling, triage, and daily clinic operations
  • Provide chairside support and ensure proper sterilization and OSHA compliance
  • Oversee quality improvement activities, reporting, and documentation
  • Assist with dental insurance verification, coding, and cost estimates
  • Maintain clinic supplies, equipment maintenance, and compliance records
  • Support community outreach and dental program growth
  • Serve as working supervisor when staffing shortages occur

Qualifications
  • Washington State DOH Dental Assistant Registration required
  • High school diploma/GED plus dental assisting/office management training
  • 3+ years dental office experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Current BLS CPR required (within 1 month of hire)
  • TB testing annually
