Job description

BETA Technologies is seeking a Demand Planner to help define the future of flight. You will work with a highly motivated, cross-functional team to bring radical aircraft to production. Bringing innovation to demand planning and forecasting, you will be a critical part of BETA realizing its aggressive manufacturing goals while ensuring material availability and optimal resource allocation. This means stepping in and providing an immediate positive impact to BETA in our march to full production.

 
How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
  • Facilitate SIOP (Sales and Operations Planning) demand consensus meetings and aggregate cross-functional input to establish collaborative demand forecasts
  • Load and maintain forecasts in the ERP system, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Implement production plans into demand forecasts and maintain the integrity of the demand signal across the organization
  • Process and manage sales orders while coordinating with supply chain partners to ensure alignment with production capacity
  • Manage long-range demand horizons (6-36 month view) to support strategic planning and capacity requirements
  • Work alongside Planning, Purchasing, and Logistics teams to align demand with supply capabilities
  • Coordinate and communicate demand changes to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to support planning cycles
  • Coordinate and prioritize work in an extremely dynamic environment
  • Identify trends and anomalies in demand patterns to support continuous improvement
  • Maintain world class production standards of quality and safety
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain, or operations, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years direct experience working in demand planning, forecasting, or similar planning roles in a complex operations environment
  • Experience with an ERP system; Epicor, SAP, Plex, or Oracle will prepare for success
  • Highly skilled in using Excel and/or Business Intelligence platforms
  • Strong understanding of demand planning fundamentals and forecasting methodologies
  • Extremely effective communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Strong background in problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Comfortable in a dynamic work environment with passion to perform under pressure
  • Strong ability to perform both as a part of a team and as an individual contributor

Above and Beyond Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in demand planning, S&OP, or supply chain planning roles
  • Direct experience in Aerospace or manufacturing
  • Experience with sales forecasting and demand consensus processes
