Job description

Position Summary:
This role is responsible for developing and maintaining demand forecasts, analyzing historical sales trends, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing actionable insights to support business decisions. The Demand Planning Analyst will partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment between demand plans and business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and technical skills, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and the ability to communicate insights effectively across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track demand planning and overall supply chain performance
  • Execute demand planning activities, including loading, validating, and maintaining forecast data aligned with KPI targets
  • Support forecasting processes by analyzing demand trends and validating forecast updates for accuracy
  • Build, run and maintain KPI reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel , and other analytics tools
  • Identify, investigate, and report forecast variances, demand exceptions, and data discrepancies
  • Conduct exception analysis related to demand shifts, forecast accuracy, and new product introductions
  • Support inventory analysis and strategy for finished goods and raw materials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders
  • Run and manage core KPIs, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
  • Analyze product lifecycle trends to support transitions, phase-ins/outs, and portfolio optimization

  • Evaluate inventory levels and contribute to strategies for both finished goods and raw materials

  • Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align on demand signals and planning assumptions

  • Generate actionable insights through data analysis and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders

  • Prepare and present clear, concise reports and recommendations to leadership to support decision-making

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
  • 2-4 years of demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data modeling and analysis
  • Experience with Power BI, AI driven forecasting tools, and data visualization platforms preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner cross-functionally across all levels of the organization
