JOB SUMMARY:
The Part-Time Event Parking Ambassador plays a pivotal role with the event parking operations of the Delta Center Parking Garage. The goal is to provide the safest and most unforgettable experience for all guests, performers, and employees who park in our Parking Garage or Loading Dock at the Delta Center. This position reports to the Assistant Manager of Xperience & Parking. This position requires at least three days of work during the week with one of these days being a weekend day. The schedule will typically be 3pm-11pm, but hours may vary depending on the event. Steady hours for this position will not start until September 2026. The pay is $17.50 per hour.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Facilitate garage ticket taking operations and guest validation procedures during events
  • Regulate the flow of vehicle traffic for the ingress and egress of the event
  • Provide assistance and direction to guests traveling from the garage to the arena
  • Conduct garage patrols to identify risks or operational issues
  • Communicate any incidents to Event Parking Supervisors
  • Assist with loading dock parking management on game days
  • Complete detailed incident reports as required
  • Protect the reputation of the company
  • Exemplify the Delta Center mission and values: transparent, all in, community obsessed, one team, and scrappy
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
  • Must possess a valid Utah Drivers License
  • Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) screening in accordance with company policy and insurance requirements
  • Previous experience in Parking is preferred
  • Can operate and park a vehicle safely and effectively

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally
  • This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess
  • This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time
  • This person must be able to lift 20 lbs
