Job description

Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking an Operations Specialist to support the SPACEFOR-SOE Operations Director at USSOCOM. This office is responsible for carrying out and executing all terrestrial and space-based operations in support of USSOCOM forces. Additionally, the Operations Specialist (S3) will facilitate and pioneer the implementation of new space-centric tactics, techniques and procedures revolving around COTS, GOTS and specially acquired space kit in support of Joint Force Commanders. What you will be doing: * Provide strategic, operational and tactical-level proficiency in Space Force operations, terrestrial, orbital, and electronic warfare within SPACEFOR-SOE or TSOC Command & Control elements. * Deliver subject matter expertise on specific capabilities and mission areas of the US Space Force and the National Security Space enterprise. * Assess all USSF elements during exercises, from missions and systems to personnel and processes, and submit a comprehensive assessment report to guide and inform weight of effort and focus areas. * Track progress on design/development/delivery of systems and/or capabilities to meet current and emerging mission requirements. * Assist with developing, coordinating, formalizing, and maintaining kinetic and non-kinetic (e.g. EW/EMS, Information Operations, and Space EW) Information Warfare targeting, training requirements, and frameworks. * Facilitate validation of urgent and emergent requirements requested by the warfighter against operational needs. * Support USSF in their role as the Joint Integrator for DoD Space Operations. * Ensure operational requirements are being met by subordinate organizations. What you will need: * 10+ years of space operationalexperience/responsibility. * Master's degree preferred. * Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. * Advanced understanding of space systems, operations, and architectures. * Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies and threats. * Current Passport * TS/SCI Security Clearance.
