Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) Technician to maintain and repair passenger boarding bridges used in airport operations. This role requires experience with high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, and HVAC experience is a plus. You will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of boarding bridges to support smooth passenger flow.
Responsibilities
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on passenger boarding bridges.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including high-voltage and low-voltage components.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues related to bridge movement and alignment.
• Maintain and service HVAC systems within boarding bridges (experience preferred).
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergency breakdowns.
• Collaborate with airport operations and other technical teams to ensure reliability
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems required.
• HVAC experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
• Flexible schedule (shifts, weekends, holidays).
• Previous experience in airport systems or industrial maintenance preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must possess a Government ID and social security card.
• Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
• Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
• Able to receive appropriate security clearances after satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
• Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
• Must be able to work in cramped or high places.
