Boomi Integration Engineer

Robert Half is partnering with a manufacturing organization in Austin, Texas to hire a Boomi Integration Engineer. This position will focus on building and maintaining enterprise integrations across critical business platforms, with a strong emphasis on Dell Boomi in a mixed cloud and on-premises environment. The role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented technical specialist who can deliver reliable interface solutions, improve system connectivity, and support ongoing application performance across the enterprise.


Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance integration solutions between ERP, CRM, and other enterprise applications using Dell Boomi.

• Monitor existing interfaces, troubleshoot failures, and resolve data flow issues to maintain stable system operations.

• Partner with technical and business teams to define integration needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

• Create and maintain reusable integration processes, mappings, and documentation to support long-term maintainability.

• Optimize integration performance, reliability, and error handling across cloud-based and on-premises systems.

• Support deployment activities, testing efforts, and post-implementation validation for new and updated integrations.

• Contribute to improvements involving enterprise application connectivity, including changes tied to broader platform or process updates.

• Ensure data exchanges align with security, governance, and operational standards within the enterprise environment.

• Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• Expert experience developing enterprise integrations with Dell Boomi (5+ years).

• Proven ability to work with ERP, CRM, and related business systems in complex environments.

• Experience supporting integrations across both cloud platforms and on-premises applications.

• Solid troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve interface and data issues efficiently.

• Understanding of integration architecture, data mapping, API connectivity, and middleware best practices.
