Job description

Responsibilities

  • Install, start up, and test Delkor equipment at customer sites.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic programming issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, audits, and equipment optimization.
  • Train customer personnel on operation and maintenance.
  • Complete service reports, documentation, and followup.
  • Support equipment checkout, PLC/HMI updates, FATs, and assembly as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Automated Systems, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • 2+ years as a Field Service Engineer I or 3+ years relevant field experience.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability.
  • Experience with RSLogix 500/5000, PanelView Plus HMIs, and reading schematics.
  • Ability to travel frequently, often on short notice.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and independent work skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Regular lifting up to 40 lbs; occasional lifting up to 75 lbs with assistance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work in production environments.

Work Environment

  • 70% travel to customer facilities (industrial production environment).
  • 20% work on Delkor’s production floor.
  • 10% office-based work and documentation.
