Delivery Driver (non-CDL)

Exxpress Tire, a growing and thriving tire wholesaler, is looking for Delivery Drivers to join our growing team. At Exxpress Tire, our Delivery Drivers transport goods safely and timely to our customers throughout the Greater Syracuse Area. In addition to driving, Delivery Drivers ensure the accuracy of outbound and inbound merchandise, collect and verify the correct paperwork and monies from customers, and work collaboratively with the dispatcher.

  • Full-Time
  • Paid Weekly
  • Start Immediately
  • Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 / hour
  • Monday - Friday 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. with rotating Saturdays 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading merchandise
  • Performing basic truck safety checklists
  • Meeting delivery deadlines
  • Obtaining the proper signatures upon transfer of goods when needed
  • Assisting customers in the unloading and verification of their order's accuracy
  • Collecting and verifying the proper payment for delivered goods.
  • Communicating with dispatch regularly throughout the day
  • Maintain a clean driving record
  • Maintain a valid NY Driver's License
  • Misc. warehouse duties as assigned
  • Drive safety and considerately
  • Pulling product to fill orders
  • Notify your supervisor immediately if your license has been suspended, expired, or of any new driving violations
  • Ability to work rotating Saturdays

Qualifications:

  • Candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • A clean valid NY State Driver’s License
  • 3 years of licensed driving experience
  • Possess good customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and a professional appearance.
  • Forklift and Picker experience is not required but is considered a plus
  • Ability to work rotating Saturdays
