D.P. Dough Storrs is hiring experienced, responsible, and dependable Full-Time Delivery Drivers to provide fast, friendly, and accurate delivery service throughout Storrs and the surrounding area.
Full-time delivery positions are also available.
Our full-time positions are ideal for applicants seeking steady hours, consistent work, and an active position with an established restaurant. Full-time applicants must have at least two years of experience in the same or a similar restaurant-delivery, food-delivery, courier, or professional driving position.
Drivers are responsible for safely delivering customer orders and assisting with restaurant duties between deliveries.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver orders safely, accurately, and on time
  • Verify orders before leaving the restaurant
  • Follow delivery instructions and use navigation tools efficiently
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service
  • Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately
  • Communicate with customers and restaurant team members
  • Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures
  • Assist with stocking, cleaning, dishes, food preparation, and other in-store duties
