What does it mean to deliver with your own car?

Delivering with your own car means using your personal vehicle to transport items—such as food, packages, or groceries—on behalf of a company or app. You typically sign up as an independent contractor with a delivery service, accept orders through their platform, and then pick up and drop off the items using your own car. This job offers flexibility in choosing your hours and routes, but you are responsible for expenses like gas, maintenance, and insurance. Delivering with your own car can be a good way to earn extra income, especially if you prefer working independently.
