Job description

We are looking for 3-4 hard working delivery drivers out of our Bloomington, MN location!!!

Schedule: Monday – Friday 1st shift (start times vary between 6:00 AM and 11:00 AM)

Responsibilities

  • You would be delivering and picking up various bulk items from mail parcels to totes of library books to interoffice type mail. **Routes may change at any given time**
  • You would be responsible for driving in all different weather conditions as we deliver rain, snow, or sunshine!
  • Delivering them throughout MN and some parts of WI.
  • Determines condition of vehicle by inspecting vehicle before and after use. Reports any and all conditions to supervisor.
  • Maintains a safe vehicle, safe driving conditions and protects load by complying with company policies, procedures, roadway rules and regulations.
  • Provides customer service by listening and helping resolve customer concerns.
  • Responsible for some paperwork. Manifests for the company and also for any of its customers who require it.
  • Responsible to use a hand held scanning device to track various items in transit.
  • Return all items to base that have been picked up at various stops.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Have had a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Pass pre-employment testing (drug screen, DOT physical and background check).
  • Have an acceptable MVR as per our company Fleet Safety Policy.
  • Pass a company driving test.
  • Be fluent in English both written and spoken.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 1 year of delivery experience
  • Customer service experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF JOB

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis
  • Ability to push/pull either 2 wheeler or pallet of cases/tubs
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack
