Job description

Summary: The Production Control Specialist 1, is responsible for supporting production planning, inventory control, capacity management, and cross-functional coordination to ensure stable manufacturing operations and on-time delivery performance.
Responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate production activities across internal production teams and outsourcing contractors to optimize operational performance
  • Monitor and analyze key operational KPIs including On-Time Delivery, Production Target Hit Ratio, Yield, Capacity Utilization, and Inventory Accuracy.
  • Coordinate production schedules and monitor day to day production performance (In house and outsourcing contractor)
  • Support capacity planning and capacity utilization monitoring for in-house manufacturing operations and outsourcing contractor
  • Cross functional collaboration with production, outsourcing contractor, procurement and logistics team.
  • Coordinate and synchronize operational data across manufacturing and enterprise systems (MES, ERP, WMS, SCM, MRP, etc.)
  • Inventory management of raw material, WIP inventories, Product Inventories (In house and outsourcing contractor)
  • Coordinate shipment and logistics schedules to support on-time delivery
  • Support root cause investigations and implement corrective actions related to production, quality, and operational issues.
  • Evaluate production feasibility and maintain Line of Balance (LOB) planning to support capacity and production readiness.
  • Prepare routine production status report and communicate operational performance updates
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial engineering or relevant experience
  • 0-2 years of experience in production control, supply chain, or manufacturing operation
  • Experience in outsourced production and supplier management is a plus

Knowledge/Skills:
  • Strong computer skills required, including ERP, Excel, PowerPoint, and Manufacturing Legacy System
  • Strong interest in automotive industry and basic understanding of manufacturing process
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation
  • Able to work flexible hours occasionally to support team needs
  • Demonstrated teamwork and effectiveness in accomplishing goals
  • Ability to multitask and solve complex problems.

Strong technical analysis and troubleshooting skills.
