Description

Responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and organization of materials within the warehouse. This position supports production and shipping schedules by receiving, staging, and delivering materials as needed. The Material Handler ensures inventory accuracy, maintains a clean and safe work environment, and operates material-handling equipment in compliance with all company and safety guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Receive and check incoming materials into the warehouse.
  • Operate a Hilo (forklift) to transport materials throughout the facility.
  • Organize and stack materials on pallets using manual lifting or material-handling equipment.
  • Perform data entry and tracking using basic computer systems.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through counting and basic math skills.
  • Read and use a tape measure for material verification.
  • Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. as required.
  • Perform general shop cleanup and maintain an organized workspace.
  • Follow required PPE guidelines and comply with all safety and company policies.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Basic math and counting skills for inventory tracking.
  • Basic computer knowledge for data entry.
  • Hilo (forklift) experience preferred.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks as required.
