The Role:
Hayward, CA
Tue - Fri 4:00am - 2:00 pm PT
This is a high-energy role for people who derive joy from a meticulously organized shelf and positive energy from being around people. Crafty is looking for a [Route Merchandiser] whose responsibilities will include:
  • Merchandising: Take pride in your spaces by owning client's office kitchens & pantries and highly organized storage rooms.
  • Delivery: Successfully complete 5-8 delivery stops during your day where you will safely navigate the loading/unloading of the delivery truck, delivering product directly into our client locations.
  • Safe Driving: Safely maneuver one of our box trucks through a route delivering food, beverages, and smiles to our clients. (Valid Driver's license required)
  • Customer Service: Engage with our clients and other Crafty team members onsite, delivering the highest quality service
  • Maintenance + Inventory: Perform routine maintenance on machines (such as coffee & kegerators), quality control checks, and completion of task lists (inventory, budget)
  • Communication: Communicate and escalate any location needs or safety concerns to the Crafty team, and accurately complete pre/post route paperwork

This role is a full-time, hourly role within Crafty for our San Francisco market's Day shift (Tuesday - Friday 4:00am - 2:00pm PT). This role is based out of our Hayward, CA, warehouse and will make deliveries throughout the San Francisco Area and succeed by meeting the skill based qualifications below:

    • The role frequently requires lifting items weighing over 50 lbs throughout the day and safely handling bulky items up to 150 lbs.

Role Goals
  • Goal #1 - Safe Driving: The Route Merchandiser will maintain a Samsara Safe Driving Score of 95% or above, as measured by Samsara reporting reviewed monthly.
  • Goal #2 - Delivery Window Success Rate: The Route Merchandiser will achieve a Delivery Window Success Rate of 98.5% or greater, as measured by Tableau reviewed monthly.
  • Goal #3 - Priority Task Completion: The Route Merchandiser will complete priority task lists at a rate of 97% or greater, as measured by Tableau reviewed monthly.
  • Goal #4 - Quality Control: The Route Merchandiser will maintain an average quality control check score of 95% or greater, as measured by QC audit reporting reviewed monthly.
