Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities

  • Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
  • Use handheld device for routing information, customer delivery information.
  • Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.
  • Load and unload packages to be delivered.
  • Keep pace in a physically demanding job.
  • Work in all weather conditions and on various routes.
  • Lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs. on a frequent basis;using material handling equipment,up to 300 pounds as part of a delivery team.
  • Get in and out of a Truck/Van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations.
  • Must be available to work weekends and Holidays as needed.
