Mercury in Motion is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) looking for hardworking and enthusiastic Delivery Drivers to deliver smiles and Amazon packages. DSPs are independent businesses that partner with Amazon to deliver packages. Our Delivery Drivers strive to get every Amazon order to the customer’s door on time. Pay: $21.00 per hour

What you will be doing as a Delivery Driver

  • This is a physical job
  • Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times
  • Follow a specific delivery route using a handheld device, delivering packages to residential and commercial stops
  • Customer obsessed – The company takes pride in being the best at delivering packages and smiles to our customers
  • Follow strict processes, company procedure and instructions for delivery
  • Lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs. multiple times a day. Up and down stairs, in residential areas, apartments and businesses
  • Work 10-hour shifts with multiple frequent deliveries; in & out of the truck 200+ times a day
  • Load 200+ packages into the vehicle without assistance within a 20-minute window before leaving the warehouse
Qualifications
  • Entry Level – no delivery driver experience required
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be punctual and have excellent time management skills
  • Must have a sense of urgency and be able to perform under pressure
  • Must be physically able to get in and out of a van 200+ times a day
  • Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs. boxes multiple times a day
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and have a minimum of 3 years driving experience
  • Must be able to work for periods of 10+ hours; four consecutive days at a time; 40-hour work week
  • Must be able to work Saturdays or Sundays. Weekends are required.
  • Must be comfortable in the Texas weather – year round
