DZ Delivery Driver

Location: Montreal, QC

Pay Rate: $24/hour

Job Type: Full-Time

We are hiring experienced DZ Licence Delivery Drivers for a busy delivery operation. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering fragile floral products to major retail customers across Quebec

Job Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate large delivery trucks across Quebec
  • Complete deliveries to customers, including major retailers.
  • Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Carefully handle flowers, bouquets, and other fragile products.
  • Use scanning devices and complete delivery documentation.
  • Follow assigned routes and delivery instructions.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and the dispatch/team.
  • Maintain a clean and professional driving record.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 3 DZ Licence – mandatory
  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience
  • Clean driver's abstract required
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills.
  • Detail-oriented and reliable.
  • Comfortable using scanners and completing delivery paperwork.
  • Comfortable with early morning/overnight starts.
  • Professional, patient, and careful while driving.
  • Must understand that the products are fragile and require careful handling.
  • No aggressive driving, hard turns, or sudden braking.

Responsabilités :

  • Conduire des camions de livraison de grande taille de façon sécuritaire partout en Quebec
  • Effectuer les livraisons aux clients, notamment auprès de grands détaillants.
  • Effectuer les inspections pré-départ des véhicules.
  • Manipuler avec soin les fleurs, bouquets et autres produits fragiles.
  • Utiliser des appareils de numérisation et compléter les documents de livraison.
  • Suivre les itinéraires et les instructions de livraison assignés.
  • Offrir un service à la clientèle professionnel et courtois.
  • Communiquer efficacement avec les clients ainsi qu’avec l’équipe de répartition.
  • Maintenir un dossier de conduite propre et professionnel.

Exigences :

  • Permis DZ valide – obligatoire
  • Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience en conduite
  • Dossier de conduite propre requis
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en service à la clientèle.
  • Être fiable, minutieux et attentif aux détails.
  • Être à l’aise avec l’utilisation de scanners et la préparation de documents de livraison.
  • Être disponible pour des départs tôt le matin ou durant la nuit.
  • Être professionnel, patient et prudent au volant.
  • Comprendre que les produits sont fragiles et doivent être manipulés avec précaution.
  • Aucune conduite agressive, virage brusque ou freinage soudain.
