Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, customer-oriented Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will safely and efficiently transport products to our customers across the greater Columbus area. You will provide excellent customer service, and ensure our deliveries arrive in good condition. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport Goods: Safely drive and operate a company vehicle (vans, box trucks, or cars) to deliver goods to multiple locations daily.
  • Route Management: Navigate pre-set routes efficiently using GPS, adapting to local Columbus traffic conditions (e.g., I-270, I-71) to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Loading & Unloading: Load, organize, and unload inventory/packages, ensuring items are properly secured to prevent damage.
  • Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, obtain signatures, handle payments if required, and address any delivery concerns.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, report mechanical issues, and keep the vehicle clean and refueled.
  • Compliance: Obey all local, state, and federal traffic laws and Department of Transportation (DOT) safety regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License: Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 25 years old.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and spend long periods sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Navigation Skills: Strong familiarity with Columbus roadways and navigation technology/GPS.
