Sioux City Truck & Trailer is looking for a motivated individual to fill an open position of Parts Delivery Driver. The successful candidate must be highly motivated with previous experience.

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Parts Delivery Driver to join our team. The Parts Delivery Driver plays a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive the right automotive parts and equipment in a timely and efficient manner. If you are a skilled driver with excellent customer service skills and a commitment to safety, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Delivery of Parts: Safely and efficiently transport parts, equipment, and supplies to designated customer locations.

  2. Loading and Unloading: Load and unload parts and supplies onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are secured and protected during transit.

  3. Route Planning: Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency, minimize travel time, and ensure on-time deliveries.

  4. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by delivering parts with a friendly and professional demeanor. Answer customer questions and address their needs.

  5. Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies or shortages to the appropriate personnel.

  6. Documentation: Complete delivery receipts, invoices, and any required paperwork accurately and promptly. Ensure proper documentation of deliveries and returns.

  7. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and fuel levels. Report any vehicle issues promptly.

  8. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Follow proper safety protocols, especially when handling hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

  1. Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.

  2. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading.

  3. Excellent map reading and navigation skills. Familiarity with GPS devices is a plus.

  4. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

  5. Time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.

  6. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

  7. Knowledge of automotive parts and equipment (preferred).

  8. High school diploma or equivalent.
