What is a Delivery Driver Independent Contractor Courier?

A Delivery Driver Independent Contractor Courier is a self-employed individual who delivers packages, food, or other goods for companies or customers using their own vehicle. Unlike traditional employees, independent contractor couriers set their own schedules, choose which deliveries to accept, and are responsible for their own expenses, such as fuel and vehicle maintenance. They often work with platforms or apps like DoorDash, Uber Eats, or Amazon Flex. These couriers do not receive employee benefits but have the flexibility to work for multiple companies and manage their workload independently.
