Join our delivery team as a Helper! The ideal candidate enjoys being physically active and would like to obtain a CDL. Amoskeag Beverages offers an in-house CDL Training Program at no cost to employees who meet the program requirements!

Compensation:

  • Compensation starting at $49,500 annually, with increases for obtaining CDL permit and License
  • Monthly bonus program

Position Information:

  • 4-day (Tuesday-Friday) work week the majority of the year (Mid-September to Mid-May), 5-day (Monday-Friday) work week (mid-May to mid-September)
  • No weekends
  • Full-Time, Year-Round
  • Early mornings, varying start times

About the Position:

Were on the lookout for a friendly and reliable Delivery Driver Helper who intends to obtain their CDL License to join our delivery team. In this role, youll be a key player in ensuring our deliveries go smoothly and efficiently. Youll work alongside experienced drivers to load and unload products assisting with deliveries to our customers, all while providing excellent customer service. If you enjoy staying active, working outdoors, and helping deliver smiles to customers, this position is perfect for you! No prior delivery experience is necessaryjust a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a desire to obtain a CDL license. Amoskeag Beverages offers an in-house CDL Training Program at no cost to employees who meet the program requirements!

Responsibilities

  • Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading product from commercial vehicles.
  • Help carry items safely, including heavy lifting and moving goods as needed.
  • Use equipment like pallet jacks or two-wheelers when necessary to move products efficiently.
  • Ensure all packages are handled carefully to prevent damage during loading, transit, and unloading.
  • Rotate stock to maintain fresh product and avoid out of code status
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and work area throughout the day.
  • Interact courteously with customers during deliveries, providing friendly service and answering basic questions.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in customer service or warehouse operations is a plus
  • Able to take direction and work as a team
  • Experience operating power industrial equipment and a two-wheeler is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with drivers and customers.
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Able to lift up to 165 lbs. safely and effectively
  • Able to reach, stand, sit, kneel, bend, push, pull, and climb repeatedly or for long periods of time
  • Willingness to obtain a CDL license in the first year of employment required
