Job description

Local Delivery Driver & Store Associate

Local Ace Hardware | East Grand Forks, MN

Starting pay: $18–$19 per hour, based on experience

Complete our first five levels of paid training and earn a 50-cent raise for each level, bringing your pay to $18.50–$20.50 per hour.

The Job

Local Ace Hardware is hiring a full-time delivery driver who will also help customers and support store operations between deliveries.

This is a local driving position with no overnight travel and no CDL required. You’ll deliver products around Grand Forks and East Grand Forks, help customers, and assist your coworkers around the store.

If you like variety, enjoy helping people, and take pride in getting things done correctly, this may be a good fit for you.

Schedule
  • Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
  • Primarily daytime hours
  • One 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. shift each week
  • Every other weekend
  • Local routes with no overnight travel
What You’ll Do
  • Make local residential and business deliveries
  • Pick up and return lawn equipment from our repair shop
  • Transfer products between our East Grand Forks and Crookston stores
  • Provide friendly service at each delivery
  • Keep the company delivery vehicle clean and organized
  • Help customers and coworkers between deliveries
  • Other tasks around the store

You will learn additional store services over time through paid, step-by-step training. We do not expect you to know hardware, paint, keys, plumbing, or rental equipment when you start.
