As a Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining an organized warehouse. Responsibilities

  • Load and unload trucks accurately and safely for customer deliveries and branch locations.
  • Operate and utilize a forklift for most warehouse tasks, including unloading inbound products and proper storage.
  • Retrieve materials from the warehouse to fill customer orders.
  • Check in and put away materials, verifying quantities and quality of received items.
  • Maintain clear aisles and walkways, ensuring materials are properly organized.
  • Assist in maintaining the appearance of the branch, primarily focusing on cleaning the warehouse.
  • Occasionally driving company vehicle to make customer deliveries and stock pick-ups, adhering to traffic laws and safety procedures.
  • Provide assistance to customers by answering questions and providing necessary information.
  • Continuously update product knowledge and stay informed about inventory and product applicability.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training as directed.
  • Report back orders and inventory discrepancies.
  • Perform cycle counts and follow through on discrepancies as needed.
  • Conduct vehicle and forklift inspections, scheduling routine or repair maintenance as necessary.
  • Assist in physical inventories when applicable.
  • Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner, following all safety rules and informing the manager of any potentially hazardous conditions.
Qualifications
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift, pallet banding tools, and wire-cutting machines and tools.
  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands and arms to handle or carry items, and reach with hands and arms regularly.
  • Occasional requirement to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Regularly required to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to talk, hear, read, and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of materials.
  • Sound reasoning and logic skills for performing daily tasks.
