Job description

Job Summary
Liberty Electric is seeking a reliable and organized Warehouse Associate / Driver to support our field operations. This position is responsible for maintaining warehouse organization, managing material inventory, preparing jobsite deliveries, and transporting materials and equipment to and from project locations.

The role works closely with field crews, project managers, and purchasing to ensure materials are delivered accurately and on schedule. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail oriented, and comfortable working in both warehouse and jobsite environments.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and equipment in the warehouse
  • Maintain accurate inventory of electrical materials, tools, and equipment
  • Pick and stage materials for upcoming projects and jobsite deliveries
  • Deliver materials, tools, and equipment to jobsites throughout the region
  • Pick up materials from suppliers and return unused materials from jobsites
  • Load and unload trucks using proper lifting techniques and warehouse equipment
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
  • Track and document deliveries, pickups, and material transfers
  • Assist with tool tracking, maintenance coordination, and equipment storage
  • Work with project managers and field teams to ensure timely material support
  • Perform routine inspections of company vehicles and report maintenance needs
  • Follow all company safety procedures and applicable regulations

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • Previous warehouse, delivery, or construction material handling experience preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Valid driver license with a clean driving record - CDL a plus
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic computer or mobile device skills for tracking deliveries and inventory
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members

Combination of warehouse work and driving to jobsites and suppliers
Work may involve lifting, loading materials, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
