Stewart Mechanical, Inc. is currently hiring drivers to deliver materials and equipment to construction sites.

This position requires individuals who can load and unload trucks and trailers, operate trucks and trailers safely, and operate a forklift. Applicants must be able to manage time and routes responsibly to maintain schedules. Experience is required. Opportunities for advancement if applicant desires.



Responsibilities:


  • Pick up materials from suppliers and deliver to project jobsites
  • Understand how to safely secure and unload equipment and materials
  • Safety is paramount, and drivers must be able to plan appropriately
  • Communicate well with manager regarding delivery times and locations
  • CDL is not required but is a benefit
  • Ability to safely connect and tow trailers
  • Work with shop personnel performing various maintenance and upkeep on all equipment


Requirements:


  • High school diploma
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Prior relevant driving/delivery experience
