Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This position requires a 12-hour night shift, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to assess and care for newborns during delivery, in the delivery room and operating room settings. Orientation for this role is held biweekly, and schedule requests are approved at the manager's discretion.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
  • Monitor and assess the health of newborns at delivery.
  • Assist in the delivery process and support the medical team in the operating room.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Must have current certifications in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and AWHONN fetal monitoring.
  • Experience assessing and caring for newborns preferred.
  • Prior experience in a Labor and Delivery setting is advantageous.
