Shottenkirk Chevrolet Buick GMC Fort Madison is seeking an experienced Automotive Collision Center Estimator / Assistant Manager to help lead our growing collision center. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced collision estimator, body shop professional, or emerging leader who wants to build a long-term career with one of the Midwest's fastest-growing automotive groups.

Responsibilities
Collision Estimating
  • Greet customers and perform thorough vehicle damage inspections
  • Prepare accurate repair estimates using CCC ONE or similar estimating software
  • Communicate with customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process
  • Write supplements and update repair estimates as needed
  • Coordinate with technicians, parts personnel, and insurance adjusters to ensure repairs stay on schedule
  • Maintain accurate repair documentation, photos, and repair authorizations
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience from estimate through final vehicle delivery

Assistant Manager Responsibilities
  • Assist the Collision Center Manager with daily operations and workflow management
  • Help lead, coach, and support technicians, estimators, and office staff
  • Monitor repair quality, productivity, cycle times, and customer satisfaction
  • Assist with scheduling repairs and allocating work throughout the shop
  • Ensure repairs meet OEM standards and dealership quality expectations
  • Maintain strong relationships with insurance partners and DRP programs
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and developing new team members
  • Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of collision estimating, collision repair, or body shop experience
  • Experience using CCC ONE or similar estimating software preferred
  • Strong understanding of collision repair procedures and insurance estimating
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous leadership, shop foreman, or management experience in a collision center
  • I-CAR, ASE, or OEM certifications
  • Experience working with DRP programs and insurance partners
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
