Overview:Join National DCP, LLC (NDCP) as a Delivery Assistant, where you will assist the driver with unloading and delivery of product into Dunkin stores using an electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, and/or two-wheel hand truck.

Responsibilities
  •  Assist the driver with the delivery of product into Dunkin stores using an electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack and/or two-wheel hand truck. The product will be segregated into freezer, cooler, dry, and chemicals.
  • Assist the driver with identifying the product(s) on the delivery truck under various lighting conditions that may exist in the trailer or delivery truck.
  • Learn product descriptions and box types to assist in the proper delivery of product at each location.
  • Assist the driver in placing stock into the proper delivery zone in the store (freezer, cooler and dry).
  • Lift boxes and bags of varying sizes and weights frequently during the course of a day.
  • Divert traffic to promote a safe working environment for the driver to back up into the store parking lot and delivery area. Guide the driver through parking lots.
  • Navigate through busy parking lots and intersections while delivering product using a two-wheel hand truck, an electric or manual pallet jack.
  • Climb in and out to the tractor and trailers repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Safely operate the side and rear lift gates on the delivery vehicles.
  • Assist the driver with any other requests within safety guidelines and/or company policy.
  • Qualifications

    1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

    2. Prior food/restaurant/warehouse experience a plus

    3. Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

    4. Ability to follow simple directions

    5. Excellent Interpersonal Skills with the ability to interact with employees and external customers

    6. Strong Team Player

    7. Flexible to varying work schedules
