Job Title: Associate Department: Deli

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Status: Part Time

Reports To: Deli Shift Leader, Deli Manager, Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Executive Directors

Job Summary:

In this position you will be required to fulfill customer orders at the Deli counter. You will be expected to provide professional and efficient service to customers, while also demonstrating a high level of product knowledge.

Essential Job Functions:

· Properly stock and rotate merchandise.

· Maintain Westborn Market standards for product quality and sanitation.

· Prepare, package and price product as requested by customers.

· Maintain current product knowledge of items offered.

· Safely use meat and cheese slicers, scales, and other Deli equipment.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area free of hazards.

· Provide exceptional customer service to all guests.

· Abide by Westborn Market’s time and attendance policy.

· Keep a positive, helpful attitude during length of shift.

· Must be able to lift minimum 25 pounds.

· Ability to bend, lift and reach in all directions repeatedly.

· Will be required to walk/stand for the duration of shift, except during break/meal periods.

· Perform all other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:

· Maintain overall store cleanliness.

· Sample product when relevant.

· Ability to write legibly, and read with comprehension at a level where it applies to this position.
